Cherry Chocolate Smoothie

This smoothie tastes really reach and a little sweet, and is a great pick-me-up for after lunch or in the morning because of the caffeine in the cacao.


I'm always looking for new healthy snack options to get me through the work day that are minimally processed but still easy to put together quickly. This is such a good one and is easy make with only a few ingredients so it comes together really fast.

ingredients:

  • 1 bag frozen cherries

  • 2 bananas

  • 3 tbsp cacao powder

  • cacao nibs and a few extra cherries to top

directions:

  1. blend cherries, bananas, and cacao in a Vitamix or Nutribullet

  2. top with cacao nibs and cherries!
